Operations 5 IM Engineering Tech C Shift (51971)

Objective of Job

• This position will be responsible for assisting production in troubleshooting downtime related issues in all assembly related processes.
• This position would support Process Engineering in optimizing productivity of existing programs.
• Ensure production processes are followed and reliable.

Principle Activities

• Assist process engineering in isolating complex manufacturing issues whether it is in process, material, or machine functionality related.
• Aid Process Engineering to reduce cycle times and increases efficiency of automated equipment.
• Assist in program start-ups involving processes, equipment, machinery, and tools (fixtures and jigs).
• Investigate new technologies to enable DAA to stay competitive in Automotive Manufacturing.
• Aid Process Engineering in small project work. (Small Automation projects, PLC Projects).
• Develop and manage datasheets (approved by Process Engineering). Process changes must be validated prior to implementation.
• Responsible to work with support departments in scheduling and reporting of trials.
• Collect SPC data on key processes and work with Process Engineering on results.
• Assist with updating and maintaining equipment drawings and any other documentation needed.
• 10% Travel is required. Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Associate degree or Equivalent Experience
• 3-5 Manufacturing Experience
• Strong Plastic Processing Technical Knowledge
• Basic Troubleshooting and Automation Knowledge
• Good PLM Technical Knowledge

pay range $29.75 - $34 per hour
